Talking about dinners, I worked in a kitchen long enough to understand what kids like and do not like. While learning what the adults do not like about kids food. I watch teens plates come back with the collard greens while adult plates come back with mac and cheese.

Pizza is always a happy medium, However, you can not serve that every night. And with our Crock-Pot recipes, we make meals easy. So what does a parent like yourself do?

Well, keep feeding those kids, that’s for sure. It’s up to you to decide what they are eating not them. Even if they do not care for them the first time or even the 100th time, you keep introducing those “Good” Eats to them. They will come around sooner or later I promise.

Now a key thing to do is, Find a few recipes that everyone in the family loves and change them up from time to time, add collards to the family meatloaf, etc. even if you do not take it that far to introduce good eats to their taste buds. Key here like I said is having meals everyone loves this helps teach them that dinner doesn’t have to be a struggle. Stop taking them out for your favorite fast food because you believe you don’t have the time to make a great home-cooked meal.

Need a place to start, try this kid-friendly recipe right here! I know sounds crazy just 5 ingredients a crockpot, and a great meal the family will love. I never have met anyone who does not love homemade crock-pot chicken taquitos. Simple easy, and only 5 ingredients.

  2. Unplug the Crock-Pot. With two forks, shred the chicken in the Crock-Pot, add cheddar cheese, and stir to evenly coat the chicken.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 F. Then spoon shredded chicken into the center of the flour tortillas. Roll tightly. (This step is so easy, even kids can help.) Then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spray generously with olive oil spray.
